Direct Debit payments can be cancelled anytime, but a bank will require at least one day ’s notice before your next payment date. We can cancel the Direct Debit for you (email us at contact@golocalcard.co.uk) , or you can cancel directly with your bank.
Note that if you cancel your subscription, your GoLocal card will no longer work.

When you complete our form to set up your Direct Debit, you give us instruction (also called a mandate) to collect the agreed payments from you. This is shared with your bank so they know you’ve authorised it. We can only collect payments when the mandate is active.

Here’s why you receive email notifications from GoCardless:
Notifying you of an upcoming one-off payment, three working days before it’s charged
When a new recurring payment is set up. The email will have information about the amount of your payments and how often they are collected. (You will not receive an email before each individual payment is collected)
Notifying you of a failure, cancellation or change to the amount of your Direct Debit. (Failure notifications are sent the next working day.
When a failed payment is retried.
